Understanding of the MikroTik Router OS

MikroTik RouterOS ™, is the base Linux operating system intended as a network router. Designed to provide convenience to users. Paperwork can be done through Windows Application (Winbox). In addition the installation can be done on standard PC (Personal Computer). PC that will be mikrotik router did not require substantial resources for the use of standards, such as only the gateway. For the purposes of a large load (complex networks, complex routing) is recommended to consider the election
adequate resource PC.

History of MikroTik RouterOS
MikroTik is a small company based in Latvia, adjacent to Russia. Formation was initiated by John Trully and Arnis Riekstins. John Trully is an American citizen who immigrated to Latvia. In Latvia he bejumpa with Arnis, The Physics and Mechanical darjana around the year 1995.
John and Arnis began to routing of the world in 1996 (the mission is to MikroTik routing throughout the world). Start with Linux systems and MS-DOS technology combined with Wireless-LAN (WLAN) Aeronet speed 2 Mbps in Moldova, Latvia neighboring country, then serving five customers in Latvia.
Their basic principle is not a Wireless ISP (W-ISP), but make the program a reliable router and can run all over the world. Latvia is the only place John and Arnis experiment, because now they have helped other countries including Sri Lanka which serves about 400 users.
Linux is the first time you use the 2.2 kernel developed jointly denag aid staff 5-15 Research and Development (R & D) is now MikroTik routing rule the world in developing countries. According to Arnis, in addition to staffs of the MikroTik, they also hire freelance tenega-and third-party with the intensive development in marathon MikroTik.

MIKROTIK TYPES
1.MikroTik shaped RouterOS software can be downloaded at www.mikrotik.com. Can be installed on a home kompuetr (PC).
-IN 2.BUILT MikroTik Hardware in the form of special hardware is packaged in a board inside the router that was installed MikroTik RouterOS.

MIKROTIK FEATURES
