I have discussed about some of the reporting engine based Java (Java reporting engine) and menahbiskan Actuate reporting tool as the most powerful. State of the Art: Birt Eclipse Ganymede
This version is very much a big improvement, especially in the performance, both in the Report Designer and its runtime is. Time still use Eclipse Europa Birt, I complain about slow response to the designer and runtime when it is installed on the production server. Here, Birt Eclipse Ganymede, have all improved. Response, the designer who made the response a fun environment for the report. When installed on the production server, the compile process and display the results also does not become too long.
How about the quality of the results? PDF format as preceding still neat, and there are big improvements in the format Microsoft Excel (XLS). One of the most dikeluhkan the programmer does not the report is a good engine for the results xls format. Jasper even the most famous is also not show the results for excel report with neatly jali. However, Birt Eclipse Ganymede show features the most arouse excel format with the results of a very tidy.
